Frozen Jr in the winter

If you know me, you know I adore theatre. I would love to be able to be in another show, but it’s hard to make it work with our family schedule at the moment. We have a few really great theatres in Duluth, so it’s fun to be able to take the kids to a show every now and then.

The Duluth Playhouse recently put on Frozen Jr, an adorable musical of Frozen with a few additional songs, performed completely by kids. It was wonderful! Sam clapped and cheered following every song. Ella and her friend sang along. Afterward, we had the opportunity to hop on stage to take photos with the cast.

I would have loved to have a photo with Sam, too, but Sam has this thing he does around performers. I probably wouldn’t know it’s an actual thing if we didn’t see him do the same around princesses at Disney World. As soon as we stepped on stage for the photo, he ran backstage. I managed to move him back toward the actors, but then this…

Kind of what I expected. But I got a photo of Sam and the actors!

The Duluth Playhouse has so many great family shows coming up. We’re excited to see more!
