A Merry Little Christmas

We had a very sweet, simple Christmas here in Duluth. Pete was away working, so it was really great to have most of my family arrive on Christmas morning. All the cousins had a lot of fun opening presents, eating cookies, and watching ships pass by. We even had the last pieces of our furniture delivered just a few days before Christmas, so we didn’t have to sit on the floor to eat!

(I’m not sure why my photos aren’t loading as clearly as they should. I’m trying to figure it out since these all look really great on my computer but not on the blog.)

My mom, my sister Becky, and her little guy, Stephen.

The boys watching Elf.

Oh, Uncle Jake.

And this guy who was a little shaggy.

My beautiful sisters – Jake’s wife, Valerie, and my little sis Jenny.

Maira and her curls.

And these beauties, Becky & Malena.

Grandma Darth.

Miss Liana

until Auntie Valerie put it in. Then she didn’t mind at all!

The boy cousins.

Sammy is all about trucks and tractors, so it’s pretty perfect that his Uncle Adam works for John Deere. Look how excited he was!

Becky made this for my parents. She’s always been amazing with lettering and art. I love everything she makes!

Playing with new Christmas presents.

I had fun making bags for all the cousins to keep their presents.

We spent the afternoon at Duluth Cider, the cider brewery Jake and Valerie opened in town just before Thanksgiving. Since it was closed for Christmas, it was a perfect place to sit and chat while the kids ran around and played games. Obviously, we also ate a whole lot of cookies.

Run run run, burning off all the sugar energy.

The big girls played games while the littles ran circles.

Such a fun Christmas we had! I do have more Christmas photos, including the kids’ big Christmas surprise! Working on that post next. I hope you had a very happy Christmas!
